Here’s a video from TMZ with Matthew Perry sitting in a taxi and playing a prank: http://www.tmz.com

The caption reads: So a brunette (Brooke Shields), a blonde (Kim Raver) and an ex-sitcom star (Matthew Perry) walk out of an Upper East Side karaoke bar… (Also present is Timothy Busfield). This was after Matthew Perry attended the NBC, IMG & Saks Fifth Avenue Celebrates “Lipstick Jungle” at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City.

Unbelievably, Perry was convinced to give up his cab seat to “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” co-star, Timothy Busfield. Matt got the last laugh — check out who he went home with!

Thanks Martha for the link!

Seventeen again

Plucked from the “High School Musical” group, Zac Efron has emerged as one of the biggest actors in Hollywood right now.

And it’s his work in Hairspray with Adam Shankman that he’s getting even a larger teen-icon status. That’s because before they were even done shooting that movie, Adam decided to develop another movie specifically for Zac – Seventeen Again.

It’s sort of a reversed idea of Big; this time, Matthew Perry is playing the adult, and Zac plays the younger version. After going through a bit of a depression, and nearly ending his marriage to Leslie Mann, Matthew finds himself transformed into his younger self. As Zac, he goes back to high school, and realizes his life wasn’t that bad.

Matthew Perry was among the bevy of star wattage that descended on Sundance this year, though he was in town in support of his role in Craig Lucas’ (right) Spectrum film “Birds of America.” Lucas wrote “The Secret Lives of Dentists” in 2003 as well as “Longtime Companion” in 1990, which won an audience award. Also joining the pair here is actress Danielle Lindberg.

Sundance - day 4

Matthew Perry arrives at the Sundance festival (pic 1 & 2) and signed autographs outside Fred Segal in Park City (pic 3), Utah. Later on he went to the ESPN Game day at The Lift in Park City and posed with athlete Reggie Bush (pic 4). Matthew Perry and Lauren Graham also visited the Hollywood Life House and the Kevin Mazur Celebrity Portrait Studio presented by Nintendo at the Wii Lounge (pic 5).

“Sundance has been great so far. I watched football all day and now I’m here,” said Matthew Perry, who joined Lauren Graham for the premiere of Birds of America before hitting the after-party for Diminished Capacity at the Hollywood Life House. The actor’s long day must have made him a little giddy; as he headed out the door, Perry shouted, “I’m in show business!”

Matthew Perry customized a pair of kicks when he visited the Reebok booth at the Kari Feinstein Sundance Style lounge (pic 6).

Matthew Perry was confused about Sundance footwear. “I was wearing Converse when I got here yesterday, and today I’m wearing boots with laces – at least I’ve figured
something out.”

Perry also posed for photos after picking up gift certificates at Melrose MAC. I’m proud of the film we’re here for, but I also like this free jacket I’m wearing,” Perry later told CNN of hitting the swag circuit.
