The Lili Claire Gala Foundation honouring Friends was held in Beverly Hills, October 23, 1999.

Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane were honored with a spirit of leadership award that evening. Marta Kauffman and David Crane have been writing partners for more than 20 years. They created and served as co-executive producers on the comedy series “Dream On” and “Friends”.
