Numb wins Audience Award : Matthew Perry Fansite

The Ojai Film Festival, with its mission of ?Enriching the Human Spirit Through Film?, completed its 8th annual festival Sunday with an awards brunch and sold out best-of-festival screenings. Throughout the festival (October 4 ? 7) audiences were treated to an array of powerful and inspiring films with filmmaker Q & A?s after most screenings.

The awards brunch took place on Sunday October 7th at picturesque Casa Elar, next to the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. Numb won the Audience Award for Narrative Feature, Harris Goldberg - USA!???

Numb also won the Audience Award at the Chicago GENART Film Festival last July!

christine : @UK Girl, here in Wisconsin since it's snowy and cold until March, we use the excuse that we have to keep our "winter weight" to keep us warm until Spring. hahaha! Then when Spring does come, the hard part of lossing all the weight before summer starts.

We've seen him typecast enough in comedy, and we probably will again ad nauseum, but clearly he's very good at stuff that isn't comedy too.

christine : I have the Ron Clark Story on DVD also. Did you know Matthew is on the Board of Directors for the Ron Clark Academy in Georgia, USA?
christine : I think he played the character well in Birds of America, but the movie just seemed to drag on a little bit. The concept of the movie, having to raise his brother and sister at a young age and not really getting exactly what he wanted out of life, was a cool idea, but it just seemed to be missing something???? I don't know what though. He always puts 110% into his roles and makes you believe his character.
dora : I also liked The Ron Clark story.. Have you seen it?
dora : Yes I did see both movies.. He played very different characters , (not like Chandler) but he was really good in both movies. However I believe that comedy is his "thing" !!
christine : I liked him in the movie Numb. He played his character so well. I was dsiappointed that it didn't come out in the theaters but only on dvd, but I rented it and then "Santa Clause" brought it for me in my stocking. Did you see Birds of America?

juleskay123 : I've been a fan of Matthew since July 2005. I had only watched occasional episodes of Friends before then but decided to watch loads of re-runs and realised Matthew was gorgeous and I had to buy all the dvds from ebay!

He and I joke that Matti is #1 on my "list of celebrities you can"...you know...like the list Ross and Chandler had in the show. hahaha!!! My husband loves FRIENDS too. Now our 7 yr old daughter loves watching all the syndicated showes and we have the 10 season dvd collection. Chandler is her favorite. (of couse)!!!

juleskay123 : Guest 131, the pic was from the movie Serving Sara and it just showed him sitting down. I think if it really was Matthew's site he would have used his own photo not one from a movie that he made in 2001 in which he didn't look very good because he was drinking then.
