Villa reigns supreme! Matthew Perry made his grand entrance, Oscar winner Denzel Washington opted for the black curtains and wasn’t pleased by all the flashing lights, Sofia Vergara teases the paps and her girlfriend puts them in place, Elliot Mintz and his lady friend have a PDA moment then he turns the camera on us! Devon Akoi and Brittny Gastineau also checked out Villa!

Did you notice the two guys that went in after Matthew. I think they were with him. I think Matthew goes there to be seen and to meet up with friends. If the press see him regluarly it’s not bad for his career, but it also keeps them from trying to track him down elsewhere maybe??
Lol Chris. I wish I could get his autograph too. You have more of a chance of him falling for you in your home town than I have so count yourself lucky lol. The North of England is too cold for an American to come to, unless your from Alaska lol.

Clema, I don’t think those guys are his friends. It’s a place where Matthew appears to go alone. Not a good thing for someone who’s succombed to addiction to be surrounded by alcohol - it’s like having a person who’s addicted to chocolate, work in See’s Candies (if you don’t know the store, it’s absolutely delicious - lots of great, yummy chocolates to buy!) See…it would be dangerous for me to work there (too much temptation!!).
I’m not an alcoholic but I do enjoy a drink now and again and I know for a fact if you put me in a bar even if I had no intention of drinking I would end up doing so.
Does anyone know if he has been having a problem with the drinking?? If he does go to Villa to huang out and not drink than that is GREAT!

Where abouts in LA is Villa?
Yes Martha, but as you just stated you’re not an alcoholic, it would be easy for you to have a drink or two….there’s nothing for you to lose if you have those drinks except maybe a headache the next morning. You know I read all the posts in the shout box between luvthesun and katsluvr and how his demeanor was different at the lili claire foundation. I hope he’s on the right track but how can we really know? None of us know him, so everything said is just speculation. And don’t you think the paps would video him if he was drunk for all the world to see? Remember, he’s an alcoholic first, the addiction came later. I think and I’ll continue to think that Matthew is on track with his addiction and alcoholism until I see or hear from a reliable source…like the Today show. Or him.
Yes Chris I agree with you. I hope he is taking care of himself and can only speculate what may or may not be going on with him. The behavior that was mentioned at the Lili Claire benefit last year could have been from any number of things. I still don’t understand though why a recovering alcoholic would want to freguent a place like Villa. There are other places to spend time with friends. Why put yourself in that situation?
He might be going to Villa for business. Maybe he’s meeting people in a room there where there is no alcohol. Sometimes he’s pictured out with people a lot(e.g. Harris Goldberg) then it turns out he’s working with them.
What happend at the Lili Claire benefit?
Do you ever notice how he will do the same or simular activity over and over and then move on to something else. He’s the same way with his clothes. Examples: When he was going to the gym he did that everyday which was nice )Matty go back to the gym!), then all of a sudden we see him out for coffee several occasions, then we see him in a club and this may go on for several weeks. You can see him wear the same shirt several times, then all of a sudden he was into the layered t-shirt thing. Just something I noticed about him.
I’ve noticed that too Martha. Maybe he’s a compulsive kind of a guy. In interviews he has said he used to practice playing tennis for ten hours a day! He also used to practice making a funny answering message on his phone for ages then get his friends to rate it!

Martha, I never noticed his clothes to see a habit but I did notice in the recent pics that his face seems a little chubbier (tummy too). But that doesn’t mean he’s drinking again. It just means he needs to get to the gym! WEll, like I said before…it’s all speculation. Who knows what’s going on in his personal life? And like you, I hope he’s happy.
I agree with Martha…why would a recovering alcoholic go to a Hollywood bar weekly…it doesn’t make any sense. There are many other places in the L.A. area he can go to hang out and be seen with others in the industry - it’s a big city! And considering his addiction problems have been in the headlines before, you would think he wouldn’t frequent a place which may encourage his addictions (and speculation that’s what he’s up to). He does appear compulsive and his wardrobe is pretty consistent (then I should talk because I wear lots of black shirts/sweaters with jeans - it’s just what I like). You’re right, Martha - Matty - go back to the gym!!
Just my 2 cents–I don’t think he looks bad with a few extra pounds on him, and I don’t see where he looks ‘heavy’ in the above pics. As for the clothes, he seems like a typical guy–wear what’s available, and clean!
To be quite honest, I like him with that extra meat lol. I didnt notice his wardrobe thing until you mentioned it. I think your right and Juleskay123, I think your comment about meeting someone about work might be true. I never thought of it that way. However, I hope he isnt tempted, I would like to think he is back on track =D.
I don’t think he would drink in public then drive his car home. If he did drink again it would probably be in secret.
I also like Matthew with a little meat on his bones. It makes him look younger and cuter

I agree juleskay. I don’t think he would drive. The video and pictures I’ve seen of him leaving Villa, he never appears intoxicated. I admire him if he can go to places like that and stay clean.
I have to agree with you also. I don’t think Matthew would drink, get in his car, and drive knowing the world would be watching him. There are too many paps around to videotape it. I think he is probably very strong and secure with his sobriety. Otherwise I don’t think he would visit these kind of places. As for his chubby face and tummy….I’m not complaining! He does look better with meat on his bones. It was just something I noticed in the recent pics of him.
